Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle design and execution of data migration strategies from legacy platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite R12 to Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM.
- Establish data mapping, transformation rules, and validation procedures using standardized templates like CV040 and the Data Migration Catalogue.
- Create and automate ETL workflows using CloudBridge, Oracle Integration Cloud, SQL/PLSQL, FBDI, and HDL.
- Design reusable tools and automation scripts to enhance efficiency across repeated migration phases.
- Work with business subject matter experts to analyze, clean, and enrich source data.
- Generate reconciliation and variance analysis reports to verify data integrity and completeness.
- Oversee cut-over planning and execution, including load sequencing, validation checks, and post-migration verification.
- Implement data security measures, including data masking and retention policies, in compliance with program requirements.
- Design and support integrations via Oracle Integration Cloud connecting Fusion SaaS, EPM, and external systems.
- Build integration interfaces using BICC, FBDI, HDL, and Oracle SaaS APIs including REST and SOAP protocols.
- Configure secure communication channels using SFTP, digital certificates, and OCI Vault, along with error recovery processes.
- Partner with solution architects and functional leads to ensure technical designs support business workflows and reporting needs.
- Develop and validate data extracts, reports, and dashboards using BI Publisher and OTBI for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with analytics teams using Fusion Data Intelligence to ensure clear data lineage and analytics compatibility.
- Produce validation reports and control outputs to support testing and migration cycles.
- Follow defined technical standards, governance models, and audit requirements for all deliverables.
- Perform peer code reviews and maintain source control using Git or VBS repositories.
- Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and dress rehearsals including issue resolution and documentation.
- Assist with post-implementation validation and knowledge transfer to operations teams.
- Guide junior team members and promote improvements in migration and integration methodologies.
