Midi Health is hiring a Senior Nurse Practitioner Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and guide NP Managers with defined standards for reliability, clinical performance, and operational consistency.
  • Lead regular management meetings, performance reviews, and issue resolution processes to maintain team accountability.
  • Convert strategic direction from clinical leadership into actionable goals and measurable results.
  • Respond promptly to performance, staffing, or quality concerns to minimize impact on care delivery.
  • Maintain an active clinical workload, including managing patient panels and handling urgent or follow-up visits.
  • Provide care in accordance with established clinical protocols, professional scope, and documentation requirements.
  • Leverage hands-on clinical experience to improve team coaching, escalation responses, and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent scheduling practices, on-call coverage, time management, and leave planning through effective team workflows.
  • Track team capacity and access risks, adjusting resources quickly to safeguard patient care and clinician well-being.
  • Establish and maintain clear daily operational expectations across the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, scope of practice, and record-keeping standards.
  • Manage triage and escalation procedures at the team level, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up actions.
  • Detect recurring clinical or operational risks and provide improvement recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Define and maintain high performance standards; recruit, integrate, and develop nurse practitioner leaders.
  • Identify performance deficiencies early and implement corrective measures effectively.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on sensitive staffing matters and escalate critical issues when necessary.
  • Work with HR, IT, Product, Informatics, and Operations teams to support change management and system readiness.
  • Support quality assurance, safety reviews, and peer evaluations; ensure follow-through on improvement actions.
  • Demonstrate Just Culture principles in managing performance and incident escalations.
