Job Title: Sr. Network Engineer Job Location: Rotterdam Maasvlakte/Remote We're on the hunt for a top-tier Senior Network Engineer to power up our tech infrastructure. In this role, you'll be the maestro of our network design, implementation, and maintenance. We're looking for a networking pro with serious Cisco chops and a laser focus on security and industrial switching. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain rock-solid network infrastructure that stays lightning-fast and always-on • Master Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching technologies, including complex setups like stacking, Virtual Stack, spanning-tree, trunking, SVI, and ACL configurations • Deep dive into Network Address Translation (NAT) across diverse network landscapes • Leverage Cisco ASA and similar security tools to build impenetrable network defenses • Bring serious expertise in Fortigate and equivalent network security platforms • Navigate OT environments and industrial switching gear from Westermo, Siemens, Moxa, and ProfiNet like a pro • Implement robust security measures within logistics networks, including customs perimeter protection • Bonus points for Cisco Wireless LAN technology skills • Collaborate seamlessly across teams to ensure our network infrastructure is bulletproof Qualifications: • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent real-world experience) • Proven track record with Cisco networking technologies — routers, switches, protocols, the works • Comprehensive understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching technologies • Network security expertise, with hands-on experience in Cisco ASA, Fortigate, and similar tools • Solid background in OT environments and industrial switching equipment • Sharp knowledge of security protocols in logistics networks • Cisco Wireless LAN experience is a major plus • Killer problem-solving and analytical skills • Communication talents that help you collaborate effortlessly across teams #LI-APMT #LI-Rotterdam #LI-Amsterdam Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
