Join Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary Kft. as a Senior Network Engineer (REF4987J). You will be the senior technical expert responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of our network infrastructure and security solutions. Your role is key in supporting and optimizing complex network environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security of services.
What You'll Do
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure as part of 2nd level support.
- Ensure smooth operations in line with critical infrastructure (KRITIS) requirements.
- Handle incident, change, and problem management tickets.
- Continuously improve the reliability and security of network services.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams on implementation projects.
- Support onboarding, training, and documentation for new technologies.
What We're Looking For
- At least 2–3 years of network operations and support experience.
- 2nd / 3rd level support experience with Cisco components, Cisco firewall technologies (ASA / Firepower), and deployed network services.
- Support knowledge of HP, F5 LTM, Cisco ACI, and Meraki.
- 2nd / 3rd level support experience with Azure Cloud.
- Support experience with SDSL components.
- Basic / vendor training for deployed network components.
- Proven experience in critical infrastructure (KRITIS) environments.
- Airport-specific knowledge and training (e.g., GFA, apron, etc.).
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Upper Intermediate (B2) English language proficiency.
- Proven hands-on mentality, structured in planning and execution.
- Experience implementing IT network solutions in critical infrastructure environments.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation in the future (once established).
- Willingness to perform planned maintenance or changes during weekends when required.
Nice to Have
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP – Security specialization).
- F5 Certified Technology Specialist certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- German language skills.
