noris network AG is looking for a (Senior) Network Engineer (m/w/d) to join our Platform Services department. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our customer platforms and internal infrastructure. You will work within a complex network environment, from classic WAN-Core and ISP-Peering to modern cloud networking setups, with a path to specialize in core and cloud networks.

What You'll Do

Sustainably troubleshoot and plan/implement changes following established processes and SLAs.
Proactively optimize our network through upgrades, migrations, monitoring, and adjustments.
Work directly with Juniper and Arista hardware and software, including CVP, in a high-end environment.
Begin automating tasks using Ansible and GitLab.
Participate in on-call duty and occasional planned off-hours changes in accordance with customer SLAs.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrated experience in network operations, specifically Routing & Switching.
Proven routine in troubleshooting using the CLI.
Ability to navigate complex network architectures and a basic knowledge of Linux and Bash.
A completed IT/networking apprenticeship or degree, or comparable practical experience as a career changer.
A strong drive to immerse yourself in these topics and continuously expand your expertise.
Independence and initiative: you actively get involved and take responsibility for your work.
Desire to collaborate in a team with an open error culture that values learning and continuous improvement.
Very good German and good English language skills, both spoken and written.

Nice to Have

Good working knowledge of Juniper and/or Arista technologies.

Work Mode
