At accantec group, we are looking for a Senior Microsoft BI Architect (m/w/d) to develop modern, needs-based BI architectures and advise customers on implementing their Microsoft BI strategies. You’ll join an expert team focused on technological innovation and cross-technology development.

What You'll Do

• Develop modern and needs-based BI architectures.
• Consult and support customers in the conception and technical implementation of Microsoft BI projects.
• Take on partial and project responsibility.
• Model and implement Data Warehousing and Lakehouse architectures as well as ETL processes based on the Microsoft BI Stack.
• Advise customers on best-practice BI solutions and optimize BI infrastructure.
• Conduct workshops, user training, and proof of concepts.
• Prepare and participate in PreSales events.
• Mentor and supervise students and young professionals.

What We're Looking For

• Several years of professional experience as a Microsoft Business Intelligence Architect.
• Expert knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack (Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform, Azure Synapse).
• Programming skills in: T-SQL, Python, DAX.
• Passion for data, databases, and Data Warehousing.
• Enjoyment working in a committed and motivated team with a hands-on mentality.
• Independent and self-reliant solution-oriented working style as well as development of innovative solution paths.
• Very good German and good English skills in written and verbal form.
• Communication and presentation confidence with pronounced service orientation.
• Flexibility and a certain willingness to travel depending on the customer project.

Nice to Have

• First experience with partial/project responsibility.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate as well as Azure Data Services.
• Project management knowledge (Scrum).
• Experience in Azure Databricks projects and certifications in Databricks, Power BI and Python.
