About the Role

At Paramo Technologies, our data is central to how we operate and serve our customers. We’re looking for a Data Quality Analyst to ensure this data is accurate, complete, and consistent. Your work will elevate business decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction by providing continuous automated and manual testing of our data sets.

What You'll Do

  • Identify data quality issues and work with other teams to resolve them.
  • Establish data quality standards and metrics with stakeholders.
  • Monitor data quality using automated tools and manual checks.
  • Investigate data quality issues to determine root cause and resolve them.
  • Develop processes to check data quality during collection and processing.
  • Train stakeholders on data quality best practices.
  • Promote improvements in the development process to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Provide technical direction and mentor other data engineers about data quality.
  • Perform data validity, accuracy, and integrity tests across different components of the Data Platform.
  • Build automated test frameworks and tools to automate Data Platform services and applications.
  • Automate regression tests and perform functional, integration, and load testing.
  • Articulate issues to BI developers and data engineers/analysts during meetings and daily standups.
  • Triage production-level issues if data is affected and work with involved teams to resolve.
  • Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.
  • Provide test case coverage and defect metrics to substantiate release decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems OR 2+ years’ experience with corporate data management systems in high-compliance contexts.
  • 2+ years of experience writing complex SQL on large customer data sets.
  • High proficiency in relational or non-relational databases.
  • Knowledgeable about industry data compliance strategies and practices (continuous integration, regression testing, versioning).
  • Familiarity with Big Data environments and large diverse data sets.
  • Experience with BI projects.
  • Strong scripting experience with any scripting language.
  • Accountability for receiving challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to drive & collaborate with cross teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Gambling industry.
  • Python experience (for data analysis - Airflow).
