As a (Senior) Web Analyst (m/w/d) at PsyCommerce, a Shopify Plus agency specializing in Conversion Rate Optimization, you will be a key member of our remote analytics team. Your mission is to conduct data-driven analyses and implement precise tracking to maximize customer revenue and enhance the user experience across our clients' eCommerce platforms.
What You'll Do
- Perform detailed data analysis for Shopify stores using Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Plan, implement, and optimize tracking solutions via Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Build clear dashboards and reports in Google Looker Studio (GLS) to enable data-driven decisions.
- Support the planning, execution, and analysis of A/B tests to optimize shop performance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and guidelines.
- Analyze heatmaps and session recordings to identify optimization potential.
- Evaluate customer surveys to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with CRO managers, UI/UX designers, developers, and customers to implement effective strategies.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web analytics.
- A completed degree in mathematics, economics, computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Extensive practical experience with Shopify, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or Google Looker Studio.
- Excellent, mandatory knowledge of GA4, GTM, and Looker Studio.
- Very good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Necessary experience with programming languages like SQL, R, or Python.
- Necessary experience handling BigQuery (Data Warehouse).
- High analytical thinking skills and the ability to process large datasets efficiently.
- A very precise, reliable, and independent working style.
- Negotiation-level proficiency in spoken and written German.
- Good communication skills in English.

- Extensive knowledge in the eCommerce sector, especially with Shopify.
