Geosyntec was looking for a Senior Marketing and Proposal Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end coordination of competitive proposal processes, from initial planning to submission and post-award reviews, including internal and client debriefs.
  • Refine key messages and win themes in written and visual materials for client-facing presentations and determine effective storyboarding for proposals and qualifications.
  • Write and develop content including introductions, win themes, proof points, relevant project experience, and team organizational structures.
  • Ensure compliance with all proposal and statement of qualifications requirements, manage production workflows, and guarantee timely delivery.
  • Create and maintain scheduling and tracking systems for proposal pursuits and coordinate input from technical leads and decision-makers.
  • Build information management systems to organize and retrieve data on markets, clients, personnel, projects, past submissions, standard content, visuals, and contact lists.
  • Identify business development leads and facilitate collaboration among technical experts across disciplines and offices.
  • Monitor and log business development opportunities using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
  • Support technical and marketing leads by researching past RFP responses, evaluation panel feedback, and gathering intelligence on potential client initiatives.
  • Supervise team members in maintaining marketing materials, including project schedules, resumes, and project descriptions.
  • Design branded, targeted presentations that reflect strategic messaging and client focus.
  • Review and approve press releases and announcements for both internal and external distribution.
  • Collaborate with branch-level technical and marketing teams to create plans consistent with organizational strategic objectives.
  • Conduct focused market research under guidance to assess target audience preferences, market drivers, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Identify candidates for marketing roles to meet office and regional needs.
  • Manage submissions for awards programs and ensure adherence to all application guidelines.
  • Analyze data on clients, competitors, and market trends—past, present, and potential—and report insights to leadership.
