Radiant is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will drive manufacturing process development, optimize production systems, and ensure product quality through engineering solutions and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate with product development teams during design phases
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction in production
  • Develop detailed work instructions for manufacturing operations
  • Support the transfer of product designs into full-scale production
  • Analyze production data to improve yield and throughput
  • Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
  • Manage process validation activities
  • Evaluate new manufacturing technologies and equipment
  • Lead root cause analysis for production defects
  • Maintain documentation for manufacturing workflows
  • Train production personnel on new processes
  • Coordinate with suppliers on component manufacturability
  • Optimize factory layout for efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support new product introduction timelines
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in production areas
  • Work with quality assurance on non-conformance investigations
  • Standardize processes across production lines
  • Monitor key performance indicators for manufacturing
  • Assist in scaling production for high-volume output
  • Provide feedback to design teams for manufacturability
  • Manage engineering change orders
