At EvenUp, a mission-driven company closing the justice gap with technology, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Special Operations. This role sits at the intersection of Business Operations, Special Projects, Product, and Legal Operations, dedicated to delivering consistent improvement in operational metrics, productivity, and performance.
What You'll Do
- Scope and manage projects from start to finish, driving improvements across Business Operations, Product, Special Projects, and Legal Operations teams.
- Achieve operational goals for efficiency, quality, and cost. Be the subject matter expert on team workflows, processes, and procedures to drive operational improvement.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain operational excellence metrics, reporting and dashboarding.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence in execution.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Legal Operations, Engineering, and Data teams to identify and capitalize on optimization opportunities.
- Create and maintain playbooks, SOPs, feedback loops, training resources, detailed knowledge bases, and similar materials to create sustainable, scalable production routines.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in an operational leadership position.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing plans that improve operational metrics and drive business growth.
- Proven experience in leading teams to achieve high levels of performance and efficiency.
- Experience managing operational, production-based workflows and teams, including BPO management, vendor management, and offshoring.
- Significant experience building, optimizing, and implementing related processes, protocols, resources, and performance management frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Effective alignment of cross-functional teams to achieve shared performance goals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable performance strategies.
- Proficiency in working with/manipulating large data sets via Excel, G-sheets, Airtable, etc.
Nice to Have
- Experience within a fast-growing, highly collaborative environment or in the legal or technology sectors.
- SQL proficiency.
