Johnson Controls Inc. is hiring a Senior Manager – Solution Development to serve as a subject matter expert. In this role, you will enable the sales organization to achieve its yearly plan by increasing the win rate in opportunities for Building Management Systems, Fire detection & Suppression, and Security & Access Control. You will collaborate early with consultants and customers to influence specifications.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate early with consultants or customers to assist in system design and RFP documentation, proactively influencing specifications.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide competent suggestions on solutions including iBMS, FAPA, Access Control, and CCTV.
- Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and schematics to optimize solutions for the sales team.
- Provide technical feedback to the sales team once a tender is released.
- Gather market feedback and provide inputs to senior management on issues affecting customer satisfaction.
- Network with Global Products teams and third-party OEMs to arrange necessary internal training.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with third-party OEMs through continuous engagement.
- Deliver technical presentations on Control, Fire, and Security solutions to customers and consultants.
What We're Looking For
- A B-tech or B.E. in Engineering in Electrical or Electronics & Communication.
- 8-10 years of experience in the design and development of CFS (Control, Fire, Security) solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Nice to Have
- 3-year diploma holders with 10-12 years of experience in a similar field will also be considered.
- Hands-on experience in designing or optimizing ELV systems.
