About the Role

As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, you will guide two engineering teams focused on delivering key products within a global integrity platform. Your role centers on leadership, technical direction, and operational excellence in a distributed, remote-first setting. You'll be responsible for cultivating team growth, ensuring delivery alignment, and maintaining strong collaboration across international teams, particularly with colleagues in the USA (PDT).

What You'll Do

You will lead day-to-day operations, set performance expectations, and foster a culture where engineers thrive. This includes conducting regular one-on-one meetings, creating Individual Development Plans, and promoting psychological safety and inclusion. You’ll ensure teams remain motivated, technically sound, and aligned with business goals.

Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, UX, security, DevOps, and customer success to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality software on schedule. You’ll oversee technical planning, ensure sustainable system design, and balance practical delivery with long-term maintainability. Using development metrics, you’ll assess performance and identify areas for process improvement.

Act as a bridge between engineering and leadership, communicating progress, risks, and strategic insights. You’ll champion innovation by staying current with industry trends and recommending impactful changes. Your leadership will emphasize transparency, accountability, and continuous learning across teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing software engineering teams, including contractors and remote contributors
  • Strong project planning and organizational skills with a focus on execution
  • Technical fluency to engage in system design reviews and evaluate architectural decisions
  • Experience working across time zones, particularly with US-based teams (PDT)
  • Ability to lead with curiosity, initiative, and a results-oriented mindset
  • Background in high-tech environments with complex product delivery
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Work Environment
