Responsibilities
- Lead multiple software engineering teams and managers to deliver secure, high-quality systems in line with strategic business objectives
- Promote engineering excellence by enforcing strong standards in code quality, feature reliability, scalability, and technical debt management
- Mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers; collaborate on hiring, succession planning, and long-term capability development
- Enhance alignment and communication with stakeholders and executives across global, cross-functional groups
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including HIPAA, ADA, and SOX, as well as corporate compliance policies
- Manage major incident response across teams, driving fast resolution and implementation of lasting fixes
- Expand automation across the software lifecycle, including build, deployment, testing, monitoring, and telemetry
- Leverage engineering and business metrics to improve system performance, speed delivery, and meet technical and organizational goals
- Advocate for user-focused design, business impact, and strong architecture while remaining technically involved and empowering teams
- Adhere to employment terms, company policies, and management directives, including potential changes in work location, team structure, shifts, or remote work arrangements, as determined by the company
