Shippo is looking for a Senior Manager, Risk & Fraud to join our Trust & Safety team. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to safeguard our shipping platform and its users from fraud, abuse, and financial risk.
What You'll Do
- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of Shippo's risk and fraud prevention programs.
- Design and implement systems and policies to detect and mitigate fraudulent activity across our platform.
- Analyze fraud patterns and financial risk metrics to continuously improve our controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to align on trust and safety objectives.
- Manage and mentor team members focused on risk and fraud operations.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of direct experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or trust and safety.
- Proven track record of building and scaling risk and fraud programs in a technology or e-commerce environment.
- Deep analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and measure program effectiveness.
- Strong leadership experience, including managing teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex risk concepts into actionable plans.
