ECS Federal is hiring a Senior Cyber Security Architect to provide a full range of cybersecurity services for a US Government civilian agency. This full-time, permanent role is based on a long-term contract in Washington DC and is focused on supporting and evolving the agency's cybersecurity architecture.
What You'll Do
- Conduct security analysis of reference models, segment and solution architectures, and resulting mission-supporting systems.
- Provide expert recommendations for ‘Analysis of Alternatives’ (AoA) to inform the agency technology roadmap.
- Design enterprise and systems security throughout the SDLC, translating technology, law, and regulation into security designs.
- Capture and develop security requirements based on system architecture, operational environments, and technology type.
- Update the Secure Configurations Working Group (SCWG) Enterprise Secure Configuration Benchmark and Baseline to the latest industry standards.
- Consult on the development of the cybersecurity architecture and maintain in-depth awareness of the Agency IT Enterprise Cybersecurity Architecture.
- Identify opportunities to leverage standards and cybersecurity architecture in support of the Agency Enterprise IT Architecture.
- Recommend requirements and integration design for enterprise technologies within the Agency environment.
- Prepare Security Architect Report documentation including SOPs, Trend Analysis, Status Reports, Metrics, CONOPS, and Charters.
- Ensure acquired or developed systems and architectures align with organizational cybersecurity architecture guidelines.
- Identify and prioritize critical business functions in collaboration with organizational stakeholders.
- Provide advice on project costs, design concepts, and design changes.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $160,000 - $175,000
