Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the QA strategy across the platform and customer-facing delivery, leading a globally distributed team of QA engineers.
- Create and maintain quality governance suitable for regulated financial institutions, including test strategy standards, coverage metrics, release criteria, and audit-ready documentation.
- Manage incident response for quality-related issues, covering triage, root cause analysis, future prevention, and clear post-incident communication.
- Collaborate with engineers to enhance test automation, CI/release gating, and regression coverage for a real-time, high-throughput platform.
- Work with Professional Services and Post-Sales teams to support user acceptance testing, structured acceptance testing, and integration validation for bank and enterprise deployments.
- Play a key role in shaping the engineering culture, ensuring high quality standards are maintained across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in software quality, with 2 or more years managing QA or Quality Engineering teams.
- Experience owning quality in a regulated domain such as banking, payments, or fintech, with familiarity in audits, user acceptance testing, and documented test governance.
- A strong quality engineering mindset encompassing test automation, CI/CD gating, and coverage measurement, balanced with structured manual and exploratory testing.
- Hands-on experience building test automation using Cypress or similar tools.
- A proven record of building high-performing, distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
- A metrics-driven approach, comfortable defining and reporting on quality key performance indicators.
