About the Role
Lead the development and execution of human resources strategy in support of organizational growth, employee engagement, and mission alignment. Oversee talent management, performance systems, and culture initiatives across a remote team.
Responsibilities
- Direct the creation and implementation of HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Guide leadership on workforce planning and organizational design
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention programs
- Manage performance review cycles and employee development frameworks
- Lead initiatives to strengthen company culture and inclusion
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Develop policies that support a remote-first, equitable workplace
- Partner with executives on leadership development and team dynamics
- Administer compensation and benefits programs with equity in mind
- Support employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Maintain HR data systems and ensure data privacy standards
- Evaluate HR metrics to inform decision-making and improvements
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy across all people functions
- Manage external HR vendors and consultants as needed
- Oversee employee lifecycle from hire to exit
- Develop training programs for managers and staff
- Ensure consistent application of HR practices across teams
- Advise on organizational change management during periods of growth
- Foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with legal counsel on employment-related risks
- Support internal communications related to people policies
- Drive annual planning cycles for HR budgeting and goals
- Champion employee well-being and mental health resources
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends and labor markets
- Represent HR in executive and cross-functional meetings
