About the Role

OPG is looking for a Senior Manager Nuclear Sustainability Services – Western, Performance Engineering. In this senior role, you will provide effective support to ensure site Engineering Programs are managed and performed effectively and efficiently in compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. You will coordinate with site and centre-led organizations to use resources effectively in the achievement of OPG performance targets.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the senior-level engineering interface with the rest of NSS.
  • Attend NSS VP's and Western DOM's Direct Report Meetings.
  • Ensure alignment and cooperation between Engineering, Operations and Maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the Sr Manager Projects team for WWMF-related projects.
  • Drive consistency in standards and performance within the Western Performance Engineering organization.
  • Collaborate with Design Authority on DA related items.
  • Act as the central point of contact for Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering personnel for all system related issues.
  • In Work Management: Interface with Operations, Maintenance, and Work Control to prescribe prioritization of On-line work activities and scope Outage work.
  • In Plant Operation: Sponsor Operational Decision Review Panel Meetings and review the technical content of Operations and Maintenance procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 6 years of management experience.
  • Ability to communicate strategically, effectively and clearly with excellent oral and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated solid judgement with strong business acumen and a proven track record of achieving success while providing valued input to a management team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment while effectively managing and adapting to ever-changing priorities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and external stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • P. Eng License.
  • Previous experience in a Nuclear environment.

Team & Environment

This role reports to the Senior Manager of NSS Performance Engineering.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Annual salary range: $134,000.00 - $214,500.00.

This is an onsite position based in Tiverton, ON.
