Forbes Advisor is hiring a Senior Manager, Member Acquisition. You will be strategically responsible for driving subscriber growth by leading multi-channel acquisition strategy and execution. As a key driver of new member acquisition, you'll optimize performance across the funnel and scale sustainable subscription growth for an iconic global media brand.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-channel acquisition strategy to meet or exceed monthly KPIs for new subscriptions and net growth.
- Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, managing the acquisition marketing calendar and coordinating cross-functional workflows.
- Optimize conversion rate of key acquisition channels including landing pages, paywall, email marketing, and paid media.
- Write highly effective marketing copy across multiple channels that reflects Forbes’ voice and improves user acquisition.
- Oversee the email acquisition strategy, creating campaigns to nurture prospects and convert them into members.
- Coordinate paid media campaigns end to end, from briefing creative teams to trafficking assets.
- Execute campaign updates and A/B tests within the paywall management system, handling configuration of logic, metering, and creative assets.
- Develop a strategic testing roadmap and CRO framework across acquisition channels to drive improvements in acquisition performance and CAC.
- Partner closely with Product, Editorial, Data, and Creative teams to develop compelling marketing assets and ensure a cohesive user journey.
- Establish acquisition benchmarks and report on key performance indicators using tools such as Looker.
- Pioneer new acquisition initiatives to discover, validate, and scale new sources of subscriber growth.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced growth function, ideally focused on user acquisition for subscription or ecommerce-based consumer products.
- Proven track record of driving subscriber acquisition and growth, preferably within an established digital publisher.
- Hands-on experience managing paid user acquisition across major platforms (Meta/Instagram, Google, Reddit, etc.) with strong understanding of ad attribution and pixel implementation.
- Deep expertise with email service providers and marketing automation platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience working with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) for advanced audience segmentation, data integration, and campaign personalization.
- Proficient with analytics and business intelligence tools such as Looker and Google Analytics.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices, including funnel optimization, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and data privacy regulations.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and building and optimizing landing pages for conversion.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and deadline-driven media environment.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to dig into performance data to identify growth opportunities.
- Both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, comfortable executing campaign setup and optimization.
- Exceptional communicator and collaborator, capable of managing stakeholders and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring flawless campaign execution from creative brief through post-launch analysis.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with subscriber acquisition tools such as Zuora.
- Experience with Cordial marketing automation platform.
- Working knowledge of HTML and AMPscript.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000
