SE Health is looking for a Senior Manager, Marketing & Internal Communications to drive strategic marketing and communication initiatives for Acorn. In this role, you will partner with the business to enhance SE Health’s strategy and growth across Canada by developing plans that align with organizational objectives, target key audiences, and drive engagement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive Acorn communication strategies that align with organizational goals and drive engagement.
- Identify trends and gather Acorn insights to inform strategic and operational planning.
- Collaborate with marketing communications to ensure brand and communications consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
- Lead the planning, development and execution of Acorn internal communications that elevate education, commitment and understanding of SE Health’s key enterprise projects.
- Oversee internal communications to optimize reach and impact.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand target audiences and build effective content that addresses audience insights.
- Create key messages that align with the enterprise brand narrative, purpose and values.
- Play a leadership role, running Acorn SharePoint Hub(s) and establishing a network for collecting, optimizing and amplifying best practice communication strategies within SE Health.
- Practice operational excellence with the digital team to ensure alignment and efficiency to gather and showcase the best practices in internal communications.
- Identify opportunities and strategic re-positioning for Acorn projects based on feedback.
- Lead in driving SE Health’s Acorn presence at internal presentations and events.
- Oversee the development of marketing and communication materials specific to internal forums for maximum education and engagement.
- Provide communication coaching and leadership support across Acorn projects.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications in a similar complex industry.
- Specialized knowledge in developing and executing internal communications with a focus on stakeholder management, change management, content development and strategic positioning.
- Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with executive level stakeholders and external consultants to shape and refine communications.
- Ontario based with ability to work out of the SE Markham office 2-3 times per month.
Nice to Have
- Relevant certifications in Branding and/or Project Management are an asset.
- Direct Health Care, Government, or Non-Profit/Charity experience is valuable.
- Experience in consulting, managing digital transformation and/or change management is an asset.
