Lead and deliver high-quality fund administration services for clients across real estate, private equity, and venture capital. In this role, you will act as a primary point of contact, ensuring clients receive timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting through a technology-enabled platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage direct client relationships, providing proactive support and strategic guidance on complex accounting and financial reporting matters.
- Apply advanced technical accounting knowledge to oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial disclosures.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance and precision.
- Coordinate annual external audits by preparing draft reports, disclosures, and supporting documentation, including management of PBC lists and tax records.
- Analyze emerging accounting standards and assess their impact on client operations and reporting frameworks.
- Drive process improvements and support system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability within fund administration workflows.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in fund or corporate accounting, or public accounting audit, with direct exposure to alternative investment funds.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required.
- Proven track record managing financial close cycles, variance analysis, and audited financial statements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and ownership.
- Familiarity with Investran is a plus, as is experience supporting technology implementations in financial systems.
