INCA – Insurance Core Automation is hiring a Senior Manager Financial Performance & Planning (m/w/d) to join our Controlling team. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive financial steering of the company, acting as a key partner to financial leadership and operational decision-makers to drive the development of planning and reporting processes.
What You'll Do
- Steer and further develop central planning, forecasting, and financial analysis processes autonomously.
- Create and enhance financial reports focusing on P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and operational KPIs.
- Collaborate with leadership and the controlling team to continuously improve data quality and report relevance.
- Provide financial support for strategic projects, including M&A and investments, with profitability analyses (EBITDA, Payback, NPV).
- Analyze variances, derive actionable recommendations, and present results to management.
- Support the realignment of planning and reporting tools, including digitization and automation.
- Collaborate professionally with corporate departments, especially Operations, Purchasing, and Strategy.
- Identify potential for efficiency improvements in reporting and planning processes.
What We're Looking For
- Completed university degree in economics (finance, controlling, accounting, or similar).
- Several years of professional experience in auditing, corporate controlling, or financial planning within an industrial company.
- Proven experience analyzing business metrics and their interrelationships in P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Proficient handling of Excel, BI systems, and ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
- Strong communication skills, pronounced initiative, and a structured way of working.
- Analytical thinking with the ability to prepare complex matters understandably.
- Negotiation-level English skills.
- Proactive approach with a high degree of initiative and willingness to make decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality.
Nice to Have
- Background in auditing or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
- Experience with the integration of new reporting or planning tools.
