Visa is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Products to drive innovation and growth across the Government & Merchant Data Products portfolio. You will build and scale external, client-facing, commercial data and AI-powered products that deliver actionable insights and measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for external, client-facing commercial data and AI products.
- Lead the full product lifecycle from concept and pilot through commercial launch, client adoption, and ongoing optimization.
- Drive the definition and delivery of AI-enabled features, partnering closely with data science and engineering teams.
- Engage directly with clients and partners to capture requirements, validate use cases, and influence product direction.
- Support go-to-market execution, including pricing, positioning, and product messaging for commercial data and AI-powered solutions.
- Define and track product success metrics (e.g., adoption, revenue impact, client outcomes).
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and responsible AI standards.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and outcomes with clarity and executive presence to senior leaders, clients, and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
Nice to Have
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Experience working directly with merchants or merchant data products.
- Demonstrated success in building and launching new data or AI-powered products.
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably with data-driven, fintech, or payments products.
- Technical background (e.g., experience with data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML technologies).
- Strong understanding of data product management, including insights generation, recommendations engines, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, SQL), and AI/ML frameworks.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver products from concept to launch.
- Experience in Agile environments and tools such as JIRA.
