CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Engineering to lead and manage technical projects from initiation through completion. In this role, you will develop detailed project plans, coordinate internal stakeholders to meet requirements, and apply industry trends and best practices in project management and technology. You’ll contribute to a company culture dedicated to building a world of health around every consumer and caring for people in a more connected, convenient, and compassionate way.
What You'll Do
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas of improvement.
- Monitor KPIs and service performance metrics.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management and business partners highlighting successes, areas of improvement and strategic recommendations.
- Integrate relevant data and information and apply findings to positively impact our business & function along with key insights and actions based on data and metrics.
- Work with product and engineering managers to determine and manage cross-team dependencies.
- Manage and develop strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the organization and cross functional teams.
- Operationalize and facilitate workshops carving out time and space to ideate on business driving idea/outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience with several of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, and/or strategic business planning.
- 3+ years experience in project or program management.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrated experience successfully driving change in complex organizations.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.
- Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large-scale initiatives with high degree of complexity.
- Strong storytelling and narration skills to distill the complex solutions being implemented into understandable stories tied to business value.
- Experience in cross-BU, project management, consumer experience, and/or business roles; healthcare and/or management consulting experience preferred.
- Experience in the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
