Lead and shape the future of data protection as a Senior Manager in Cyber Technical, focusing on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineering. In this role, you'll guide a team responsible for building and maintaining DLP systems that align with regulatory standards and enterprise security goals. Your leadership will ensure that DLP controls are effectively integrated into cloud platforms and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the development and deployment of DLP engineering solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud environments
- Collaborate with product and security teams to influence long-term DLP strategy and technology roadmaps
- Evaluate existing and proposed DLP architectures, identifying improvements and addressing technical gaps
- Design secure, scalable system solutions that meet compliance and operational requirements
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs and configuration guides
- Oversee team execution of sprint and program increment deliverables within agile frameworks
- Support audit processes, control testing, and incident investigations with detailed reporting
- Monitor and report on performance metrics to track program effectiveness and team productivity
- Deliver expert guidance on data protection to IT, business units, and executive leadership
- Ensure consistent implementation of DLP policies across network, endpoint, and cloud environments
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience in software delivery, with a minimum of 2 years in cybersecurity and 1 year working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Preferred candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and possess one or more cybersecurity certifications. Experience with Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), network DLP, or endpoint DLP solutions is highly valued.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Richmond, Virginia or New York City, with on-site expectations in New York. Other locations may follow local hybrid arrangements. The position involves collaboration across technical and business teams, with regular updates to leadership on project progress and security posture.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for New York City is $230,100 to $262,700. Compensation for roles in other locations will reflect local market rates.
