Suncorp Bank, part of the ANZ Group, is seeking a Senior Manager for our Control Assessment Team Resiliency. In this pivotal role, you will lead a cross-border, multi-jurisdictional team responsible for the entire Third-Party Risk Management lifecycle, focusing on centralized pre- and post-contract controls assessment to strengthen our operational resilience.
What You'll Do
- Stand-up and lead a cross-border, multi-jurisdictional Third-Party Risk Management Controls Assessment Team.
- Play a pivotal role in assisting the business with the CPS 230 Materiality assessment process and ensuring adherence to ongoing governance monitoring requirements.
- Promote continuous enhancement in the third-party risk and control environment through active engagement with business stakeholders and third parties.
- Lead a team of TPRM subject matter experts to ensure effective process execution.
- Oversee the team in performing Materiality Assessments for third parties to ensure compliance with CPS 230 APRA requirements.
- Govern the ongoing monitoring process to demonstrate compliance with CPS 230.
- Lead the delivery of internal and external due diligence for various control assessments (e.g., business continuity, resiliency), reviewing outputs and sharing findings.
- Provide expert first-line advice and support on third-party risk management to the business and third parties.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience across all TPRM control assessments.
- Maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders and third parties, fostering a customer service focus.
- Lead and provide day-to-day guidance for junior team members, ensuring their development and alignment with team goals.
What We're Looking For
- Risk management experience within the financial services industry across different disciplines (e.g., regulatory, Information Security, Data Privacy).
- Experience leading teams with a proven track record of fostering employee engagement and enhancing performance.
- Proven stakeholder management expertise, including managing effective relationships and delivering risk-related communications.
- A demonstrated track record of delivering effectively to operational deadlines.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to TPRM.
- Experience interpreting and understanding regulatory requirements across multiple regimes.
- Experience operating in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
- A demonstrated customer lens and affinity.
Nice to Have
- Risk management experience preferably in Third-Party Risk Management.
- Knowledge and experience of ANZ’s TPRMHub operations and management.
