About the Role
This role is responsible for managing strategic bank partnerships, driving collaboration to enhance product offerings, and supporting scalable growth through financial institution alliances.
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiations and ongoing management of agreements with banking partners
- Develop strategies to strengthen collaboration with financial institutions
- Identify opportunities to expand product integration with partner banks
- Work cross-functionally to align partner goals with internal capabilities
- Drive revenue growth through bank-driven distribution channels
- Monitor performance metrics and deliver regular partner business reviews
- Serve as primary point of contact for key banking relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations
- Coordinate joint go-to-market initiatives with partner institutions
- Advocate for partner feedback in product development cycles
- Manage escalation paths and resolve operational issues promptly
- Support onboarding and integration of new banking partners
- Maintain deep understanding of banking industry trends and regulations
- Contribute to long-term partnership strategy and roadmap planning
- Foster trust and transparency through consistent communication
- Track market developments impacting bank partnership models
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams on risk assessments
- Prepare executive-level presentations on partnership performance
- Optimize operational workflows between internal teams and partners
- Promote data-driven decision-making in partnership management
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in business or finance
- Experience working at a card issuer or payments processor
- Direct experience with program management banks (PMBs)
- Background in fintech platform partnerships
- Knowledge of Reg E, Reg Z, and FDIC guidelines
- Prior leadership role in a technology-driven financial services company
- Familiarity with agile development environments
- Experience managing global banking relationships
