Visa is hiring a Senior Manager, AI Commerce Strategy and GTM to define and lead our strategic approach in the rapidly evolving AI commerce landscape. This role sits within the newly created Global Growth Products and Partnerships team and is central to shaping Visa's external positioning, partnership priorities, and product investment theses.
What You'll Do
- Develop and own Visa's strategic map of the AI commerce ecosystem — platforms, infrastructure layers, protocols, key players, and emerging standards.
- Build the frameworks and theses that guide Visa's partnership priorities, product investments, and commercial positioning in AI commerce.
- Lead go-to-market planning for new AI commerce initiatives, working across product, sales, legal, and regional teams to drive execution.
- Track competitive dynamics across AI companies, developer platforms, and emerging payment protocols; translate intelligence into actionable recommendations.
- Lead senior-level commercial engagement with AI companies, developer platforms, and ecosystem infrastructure builders.
- Structure and execute high-value partnership agreements, including non-traditional deal structures, pilots, and joint go-to-market arrangements.
- Develop partner-facing strategic narratives and executive materials that articulate Visa's value proposition in the AI commerce space.
- Drive Visa's engagement with AI marketplaces and platforms with a focus on monetization models, trust frameworks, and agent identity.
- Serve as a primary voice for Visa's AI commerce strategy internally and externally — at conferences, in industry forums, and in executive conversations.
- Provide market, partner, and ecosystem feedback to Visa product teams to inform roadmap development and prioritization.
- Lead evaluation of strategic partnerships and investments in AI startups and foundational technologies that enable scalable AI commerce.

- Deep familiarity with the AI and developer ecosystem — you follow it closely, have strong opinions, and can hold your own in technical conversations.
- Track record of producing original strategic thinking: market maps, competitive frameworks, investment theses — not just synthesizing existing analysis.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex ideas into sharp, compelling narratives for executive and external audiences.
- Proven ability to lead senior commercial discussions and close non-standard partnerships in fast-moving environments.
- A self-starter who creates structure in ambiguous environments and drives outcomes with limited direction.
- Experience building and presenting executive-level communications to C-suite and senior stakeholders.
