Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary Kft. is seeking a Senior Mainframe Application Administrator to oversee critical batch job management, release coordination, and technical support. You will operate within an established ITIL framework, ensuring the stability and performance of our mainframe applications.
What You'll Do
- Write, modify, and schedule batch jobs (JCL)
- Analyze job logs and perform troubleshooting
- Coordinate releases with impacted specialist teams
- Prepare, install, and test new releases
- Manage datasets
- Participate in operational testing
- Provide 2nd / 3rd level technical support for connected applications
- Handle ticket administration and documentation management based on ITIL
- Solve complex problems through root cause analysis
- Ensure process adherence
- Manage Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration processes
- Actively participate in daily/weekly client meetings
What We're Looking For
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
- Confident knowledge of z/OS, JES, TSO, JCL, ISPF, Scheduler, and OMVS
- German and English language skills (minimum B1 level)
Nice to Have
- Knowledge and experience with Mainframe DB2
- Knowledge and experience with Mainframe IDMS
- Knowledge and experience with Mainframe RACF
- Programming knowledge in REXX and CLIST
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience with PostgreSQL
