Accountabilities: · Comprehend machine learning engineers' requirements and identify platform capability gaps. · Architect, execute, and optimize high-performance, low-latency ML inference infrastructure and streaming pipelines. · Guide junior engineers, cultivating a culture of superior software development and technical advancement. · Champion best practices in distributed training, feature engineering, and model deployment. · Develop monitoring tools to assess data quality and detect performance deterioration impacting models. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational effectiveness. Requirements: · 5+ years of software engineering experience, with demonstrated expertise in distributed systems. · Robust coding skills and elevated software quality standards. · Proven track record in designing and implementing low-latency, high-availability systems. · Exceptional communication capabilities and ability to articulate complex technical requirements precisely. · Mentorship background and skill in guiding engineers toward enhanced technical proficiency. · Advanced problem-solving skills and adaptability across diverse technologies. · Preferred: experience with ML models and systems, platform engineering, or developer tooling. · Familiarity with Python, Golang, Ray, Tecton, Spark, Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, or DynamoDB is advantageous.
