MaintainX is hiring a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own the strategy and execution of behavior-based programs that drive growth throughout the entire customer journey. You will be responsible for converting leads to opportunities, accelerating onboarding and activation, improving adoption, and driving expansion across channels like email, in-app messaging, and live chat.
What You'll Do
- Master the full lifecycle of PLG and Sales-Assisted initiatives.
- Improve time-to-value, increase trial-to-paid conversion rates, and drive PQL/MQL to opportunities through clear handoffs to sales.
- Accelerate post-sale onboarding, activation, and adoption, and foster retention and expansion through usage and maturity-based journeys.
- Manage core lifecycle programs: MQL nurturing, PQL nurturing, trial conversion, onboarding/activation, re-engagement, and expansion.
- Define and manage lifecycle segmentation based on user behavior, personas, and funnel stage.
- Support launches and campaigns through coordinated email, in-app, and live chat journeys.
- Manage lifecycle experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) for messaging, timing, offers, journey logic, and channel mix.
- Manage performance reporting for lifecycle campaigns; communicate learnings and iterate based on results.
- Align sales and business operations on routing, thresholds/scoring, SLAs, and lifecycle handoffs to sales.
- Leverage AI as a core component of your work to accelerate personalization, increase testing velocity, automate operational tasks, and maintain quality at a sustained pace.
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years minimum experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or growth in the B2B SaaS sector.
- Proven skills in pre-sale conversion (trial-to-paid and/or lead-to-opportunity) and post-sale onboarding/adoption/retention programs.
- Thrived in demanding, high-impact environments with a track record of high-speed execution.
- Strong experimentation and analysis skills; comfortable using data to create trigger-based journeys.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and lifecycle management tools—HubSpot required.
- Comfortable with BI and reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Daily use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
- Experience applying AI to creation, data analysis, or workflow automation.
- Strong prompting skills and ability to control the quality of AI outputs.
- A preference for automation and operational optimization.
Nice to Have
- Experience with in-app tools (Pendo, Intercom, or equivalent) and conversational/live chat marketing.
- Salesforce experience.
