EUSMS gGmbH is hiring a Senior Legal Counsel Women’s Protection (m/w/d) to establish and lead a transnational program ensuring women across East Africa receive free legal support, access to justice, and representation. In this role, you will build the program from the ground up, ensuring compliance with legal standards and creating lasting impact.
What You'll Do
- Build and launch the Women’s Protection program in all EUSMS countries.
- Recruit, train, and supervise local legal teams and case managers.
- Develop and standardize global case management systems, tools, and protocols.
- Ensure safeguarding, confidentiality, and compliance with national and international legal standards.
- Liaise with Monitoring & Evaluation to define KPIs and measure program results.
- Conduct outreach with NGOs, labor unions, HR networks, community groups, and employers.
- Train organizations on women’s protection policies, compliance, and safe-workplace standards.
- Build and maintain relationships with UN agencies, international NGOs, and women’s rights coalitions.
- Collaborate on research, evaluation, and knowledge generation in protection and labor rights.
- Support grant applications, donor engagement, and program growth strategies.
