Autodata Solutions Inc / J.D. Power is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide business-focused professional legal support to the Group. In this role, you will handle a broad range of legal matters, primarily impacting the UK, Europe, and Australia, ensuring the Group's interests are protected and its operations adhere to corporate governance frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Provide company secretarial support, including filings at Companies House and maintaining statutory books.
- Review and draft intercompany contracts, facility agreements, and other corporate documents.
- Advise on trade mark registrability and support external counsel with oppositions.
- Enforce IP rights against third parties and update Group copyright and trademark notices.
- Provide general compliance oversight for UK, European, and Australian operations.
- Handle KYC requests and maintain the Group's Ultimate Beneficial Ownership register.
- Assist with insurance renewals, queries, and claims.
- Prepare the annual Modern Slavery Statement.
- Draft and review various agreements such as NDAs, supplier agreements, and employment contracts.
- Provide ad hoc support on contractual matters, litigation, due diligence, and legal research.
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Qualified solicitor in good standing in a common law jurisdiction.
- 4+ years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Ability to advise within or adapt to UK legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Background in commercial, corporate, and/or compliance law.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks in Europe, including competition law.
- Proven ability to deliver commercially pragmatic, risk-balanced advice to senior leadership.
- Effective communicator with strong drafting skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a wide portfolio of responsibilities.
Team & Environment
You will be part of the Group's Legal team and will report to the Associate General Counsel.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: £75,000 to £80,000 per year.

This is a remote position for candidates based in the UK.
