Responsibilities
- Implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of IT services.
- Configure, monitor and maintain Firewalls and remote VPN connections.
- Plan and oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems from threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Manage firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools to safeguard the IT environment.
- Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues (escalations).
- Provide support on hardware and software issues to remote and local users.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network and system problems.
- Oversee the helpdesk team to ensure efficient and effective user support.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development. (Future)
- Coordinate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs.
- Manage IT projects, including the allocation of resources and adherence to timelines.
- Assist with the development and implementation of long-term IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the organization remains competitive.

Additional Information
- This role may require occasional off-hours and weekend work to perform system maintenance or handle technical support issues.
- Because of the nature of our service-oriented company, user support is often required outside of normal business hours and on weekends.
