Responsibilities
- Design and implement API-based integrations across diverse software systems
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define integration requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation for integration workflows and configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production integration environments
- Ensure integration solutions meet security, scalability, and performance standards
- Work with third-party vendors to establish and validate API connections
- Monitor integration health and performance using observability tools
- Implement automated testing for integration pipelines
- Support compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements
- Optimize existing integrations for reliability and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Lead technical discussions with client engineering teams when needed
- Contribute to the development of internal integration frameworks
- Respond to integration-related support escalations
- Stay current with evolving API standards and integration patterns
- Assist in scoping and estimating new integration initiatives
- Ensure consistent error handling and logging across integrations
- Integrate with both cloud and on-premise systems as required
- Collaborate on incident response related to integration failures
- Mentor junior engineers on integration design and implementation
