Sully.ai is hiring a Senior Integrations Engineer to lead the technical design and execution of how we connect with the healthcare ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and reliable integrations with a wide variety of EHR systems.
What You'll Do
- Drive integrations development across FHIR, HL7, APIs, and RPA-based solutions.
- Implement core infrastructure for connecting to EHRs like Epic, Cerner, Athena, and others.
- Partner closely with co-founders to set integration strategy and make build vs. buy decisions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements, define workflows, and deliver production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to bridge integrations with applied GenAI systems, ensuring real-world deployment of intelligent automation.
What We're Looking For
- Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
- Proven experience integrating with multiple EHR systems across SMB and enterprise environments.
- Hands-on work with FHIR, HL7, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and hybrid/on-prem systems.
- Experience building with RPA frameworks (Selenium or similar).
- Background in customer-facing engineering roles, gathering requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.
Nice to Have
- Previously founder/co-founder of a SaaS or AI company.
- Experience at a Series A or B AI or healthcare startup.
- Familiarity with LLM-powered workflows, RAG, or agentic platforms.
- Open-source contributions in healthcare integrations or standards.
- Background in SRE or DevOps.
