About the Role
This role serves as a key advisor to leadership on human resources matters, focusing on talent management, employee relations, performance improvement, and organizational development within a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Provide guidance on employee performance management and development plans
- Lead investigations into workplace concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions
- Support change management initiatives during periods of organizational transition
- Advise managers on effective team structuring and workforce planning
- Interpret and apply company policies consistently across employee cases
- Collaborate on talent acquisition strategies to meet hiring needs
- Facilitate leadership development and coaching for managers
- Monitor employee engagement metrics and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and fairness
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across teams
- Guide disciplinary actions and separation processes in line with policy
- Serve as a resource during workforce reductions or restructuring
- Promote a culture of accountability, respect, and high performance
- Partner with HR centers of excellence on compensation and benefits inquiries
- Track and report on key HR metrics to inform decision-making
- Assist in onboarding programs to improve new hire integration
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments
- Coordinate with legal counsel on sensitive employment matters
- Lead training sessions on HR policies and managerial best practices
- Evaluate organizational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Support internal mobility and career development initiatives
- Ensure consistent application of HR processes across departments
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace issues
