Role Overview

As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you will play a central role in shaping and maintaining the performance of Workday Recruiting within a global HR environment. Your expertise will ensure that recruitment systems are configured effectively, compliant with regulations, and aligned with evolving business needs across regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Workday Recruiting features including job postings, candidate workflows, interview coordination, offer processes, and requisition routing.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR teams to refine hiring practices and increase process efficiency.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and serve as the primary escalation point for system issues related to recruitment.
  • Lead user acceptance testing and oversee change management for system updates and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with IT and global HRIS colleagues to implement new functionalities and deploy system upgrades.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, workflows, and system designs.
  • Design automated solutions to streamline HR operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Investigate and resolve complex cross-module issues within Workday.
  • Manage a prioritized backlog of system improvements and track delivery from concept to completion.
  • Develop and run test cases for projects involving recruitment functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, compliance, and system performance.
  • Engage in agile practices such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and review sessions.
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes on HR systems in coordination with shared services and technical partners.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests and resolve user inquiries efficiently.
  • Support global initiatives, including security setup, data integrity checks, EIBs, and new module rollouts.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive hands-on experience with the Workday Recruiting module, including configuration and optimization in large, multi-country environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to design compliant processes that meet regional requirements, including GDPR and local labor laws.
  • Proven success in delivering scalable HRIS solutions across diverse regions.
  • Strong skills in gathering requirements, designing solutions, documenting configurations, and analyzing the impact of system changes.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and analytics in Workday to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through to implementation.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, global settings with shifting priorities and high reliability standards.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and develop practical, sustainable fixes.
  • Confidence communicating with senior stakeholders and presenting clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborative approach with experience working across multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, permanent position open to candidates based in Great Britain or Ireland. The role operates remotely with flexibility in working hours to support collaboration with teams in the US and Sri Lanka. Occasional travel may be required.
