Hypergen is hiring a Senior GTM Copywriter (Cold Email)

Hypergen, a fast-growing GTM agency, is hiring a Senior GTM Copywriter who specializes in cold email. This is a performance-driven role where you will combine strategic writing with data iteration and team leadership to generate pipeline for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Write and optimize cold email sequences for industries including SaaS, FinTech, HRTech, M&A, and DevTools.
• Develop compelling angles, hooks, and positioning strategies that cut through inbox noise.
• Collaborate closely with GTM specialists to align copy with targeting and offer strategies.
• Design and run structured A/B tests on subject lines, CTAs, tone, and email structure.
• Iterate on copy based on performance data, not opinions.
• Utilize Clay for personalization logic and workflow support.
• Improve and build AI workflows to accelerate research, ideation, and testing processes.
• Lead and mentor the existing copy team of 2 writers.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of direct experience writing cold email (mandatory, not general copywriting).
• Understanding of key outbound metrics: reply rate, positive reply rate, meeting rate, and pipeline generated.
• Daily use of AI tools with a deep understanding of how to push them for high-quality outputs.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and refining AI outputs.
• Proficiency with Clay or similar outbound automation and personalization tools.
• Strong, natural command of English writing.
• Prior people management experience and the ability to give clear, constructive feedback.

Nice to Have

• Experience building workflows in n8n, Make, or Zapier.
• Previous work as a GTM Engineer or outbound specialist.
• Familiarity with tools like Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, RB2B, and BuiltWith.
• A systems-thinking mindset, not just a focus on writing sentences.
