Tahaluf is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to lead and elevate the creative vision across all visual touchpoints for the Tech Festivals group, primarily for London Tech Week. This is a hands-on, execution-led role responsible for delivering outstanding creative across experiential, digital, and marketing channels.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of all creative assets for tech festivals live events, including event branding, signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, stage visuals, screens, motion-led assets, and digital assets for web, email, social media, and paid marketing campaigns.
- Own creative execution from concept through to final delivery, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality attendee experience.
- Act as the brand guardian for the respective tech festivals, maintaining consistency and excellence across all print and digital outputs.
- Provide quality control and final checks across all creative deliverables.
- Work closely with marketing, content, production, and external partners to manage timelines and ensure seamless delivery.
- Manage and direct freelance designers, providing clear creative direction and constructive feedback.
- Prepare final artwork for print and large-scale production.
- Manage print production and CMYK file preparation, liaising with suppliers and vendors.
- Design with real-world environments in mind, including scale, lighting, screen ratios, and on-site application.
- Stay up to date with trends in event design, experiential marketing, and technology-led experiences.
- Proactively identify opportunities to elevate the visual impact of the respective tech festivals.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within events, experiential marketing, or brand-led environments.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating print and large-format design, digital and social assets.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of CMYK workflows, print production, and file preparation.
- Excellent grasp of typography, layout, colour, and visual storytelling.
- Experience designing for physical environments, including large formats and screen-based outputs.
- Strong organisational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous eye for detail and commitment to high-quality output.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-energy environments and remains calm under pressure.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strategic thinker who can translate complex ideas into compelling visual narratives.
