Tahaluf is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to lead and elevate the creative vision for our major live events across North America. You'll drive creative excellence from concept to delivery, mentor a team of designers, and collaborate with marketing and creative leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of five designers, providing feedback, direction, and professional development.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee project workflows, manage deadlines, and support the team.
- Conceptualize and execute innovative campaign ideas from concept to delivery.
- Spearhead process improvements to enhance project efficiency and team collaboration.
- Oversee end-to-end creative development of new projects, managing timelines and team workloads.
- Provide quality assurance for all creative deliverables across print and digital platforms.
- Manage print production and file preparation for CMYK output, including vendor management.
- Design motion graphics for digital initiatives and video content.
- Contribute fresh design ideas to elevate branding and marketing campaigns.
- Research and implement current design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Assist with day-to-day creative projects as required.
What We're Looking For
- BA or BS degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, or Communication Arts.
- A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in a related graphic design role.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of designers.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Expertise in motion graphics for digital and video content.
- Strong understanding of file preparation for CMYK output and print production processes.
- Strong understanding of pop culture and experience in the Design and/or Art industries.
- Passion for the pop culture industry and creating designs that resonate with fans.
Nice to Have
- People management experience.
- A knack for contributing fresh, innovative ideas to elevate branding.
Technical Stack
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere).
Team & Environment
You will manage a team of five designers (three full-time graphic designers, one full-time freelancer, and one new hire). You'll report to the Associate Director, Creative and Brand and work closely with Creative Directors and the VP of Marketing.
