Massgeneralbrigham is hiring a Senior Grants Administrator to manage the complete lifecycle of research grants and contracts for the Department of Neurology Research at MGH. You will serve as a departmental expert, providing guidance to navigate the proposal submission process and ensuring all activities meet institutional and sponsor regulations.
What You'll Do
- Process and prepare research grant proposals, awards, and transactions, maintaining compliant grant records.
- Prepare budgets, justifications, and materials for financial reporting.
- Identify and prevent projected budget overruns, find cost-sharing opportunities, and propose creative solutions to fiscal issues.
- Ensure proposal compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines, verifying all requirements are met and documented.
- Serve as the department or team grant management expert.
- Train and orient new staff.
- Support work of the highest complexity and may achieve institutional signing authority.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field of Study or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of direct research administration experience.
