Devsu is looking for a Senior GCP Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You'll join fast-moving, cross-functional squads working on dynamic projects for clients in the US and Latin America.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and deploy backend services and cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Build and maintain scalable architectures using Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and other GCP services.
Write clean, efficient, and well-tested Python code for backend systems and cloud integrations.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high code quality and continuous deployment reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional squads, including frontend, product, DevOps, and data teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Monitor system performance, perform debugging, and optimize cloud resources for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Adapt quickly between projects and contribute to both ongoing initiatives and new technical challenges.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates, ensuring clarity, alignment, and transparency.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of hands-on experience working with GCP in production environments.
Strong proficiency with Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and related GCP services.
Advanced backend development experience with Python (APIs, microservices, automation, cloud integrations).
Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps workflows, and modern software delivery practices.
Experience working in fast-paced squads and highly collaborative product teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to integrate quickly into mixed and distributed teams.
Proactive, independent mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to switch between multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
