Jobgether is hiring a Senior Fullstack (NodeJS-Typescript) Engineer to drive the development of scalable, secure, and event-driven backend systems for next-generation financial infrastructure. You will design and implement core services for real-time payments, wires, and ACH processing, ensuring high availability, compliance, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Architect and develop backend services for financial workflows using Node.js and TypeScript.
Design domain-driven APIs and workflows implementing event sourcing and eventual consistency.
Apply the SAGA pattern to coordinate distributed transactions and maintain data integrity.
Build and maintain serverless components using Azure Functions and Logic Apps for asynchronous processing.
Ensure reliability, observability, and automated testing across all services.
Collaborate with platform engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and runtime standards.
Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and operational excellence in a regulated environment.

What We're Looking For

8+ years of experience building backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong functional programming skills.
Deep understanding of event-driven architectures, event sourcing, and distributed consistency models.
Experience designing and deploying microservices in regulated or financial environments.
Proficiency with Azure services (Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Azure Functions).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and strong automated testing practices.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Located in Argentina or Colombia.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with functional programming libraries like effect-ts.
Experience with SAGA orchestration.
Experience with banking compliance.
Experience in payments domain (FedNow, SWIFT, NACHA, ISO 20022).
Experience with Kubernetes.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
