Ride Health is looking for a Clojure Programmer to play a pivotal role in shaping our architecture. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you will tackle real-time and distributed systems challenges while collaborating with a highly skilled team that values design, reliability, and measurable outcomes. We blend technology and data with a human approach to break down access barriers and solve transportation challenges.
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver complex features using modern front-end frameworks to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with engineers, the product team, and business stakeholders to build high-impact solutions.
- Drive continuous improvements in technical performance, scalability, and reliability across our products.
What We're Looking For
- Fullstack development experience with Clojure/ClojureScript with an emphasis on front-end.
- Expert-level proficiency with React.
- Some experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Reagent & Re-frame.
- Experience with Microservices, Distributed systems, and Kafka.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must reside in the United States to perform this job.
- Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States.
