EDTELLIGENT is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer (all genders) to join our small, agile team. In this role, you will architect and implement solutions, take ownership of technical initiatives, and directly influence our development culture and processes. You'll work on solutions with real societal impact within a partnership-driven culture.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement new features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Next.js, Node.js, Directus) and define their architecture.
- Ensure clean, maintainable code and introduce best practices into the development team.
- Ensure applications remain performant and stable as user numbers grow.
- Leverage modern testing frameworks and drive code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Work closely with Product and fellow engineers to build user-centric solutions.
- Share expertise with colleagues and strengthen the team through mentoring and technical discussions.
- Contribute ideas to make development and deployment processes more efficient – from CI/CD pipelines to monitoring and automation.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem and evaluate new tools and frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- More than 5 years of professional experience in software development with JavaScript/TypeScript (frontend and backend).
- Strong expertise in modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js).
- Experience with software architecture, testing (Jest, Cypress, or similar), and CI/CD.
- Structured, reliable, and independent way of working – with an eye for both details and the big picture.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with joy in knowledge sharing.
- Very good German or English skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with Directus.
