Sezzle is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join its Metadata team. You will help expand our ability to deliver reliable and scalable metadata systems, working on end-to-end implementation of features, improving test coverage, and contributing to big-data and API infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Work on end-to-end implementation of features
- Improve test coverage
- Contribute to big-data and API infrastructure
- Participate in the engineering on-call rotation to monitor and maintain the health of production systems
What We're Looking For
- Foundational knowledge of computer science
- Experience in Python is required
- Familiarity with SQL, Git, and Linux
- Growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and good communication skills
- Open to recent graduates or students in their final year who can commit to full-time work
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties
Nice to Have
- Desire to eventually own and lead technical projects that may involve collaboration with other teams
- A desire to learn new technologies and build great software and data models used by key people in the digital video entertainment industry
- Interest in working on a distributed engineering team and an ability to be a self-starter
- An ability to solve problems and communicate your technical insights effectively with stakeholders, and own projects end-to-end
- Enthusiasm to be an active and contributing member of a high performance engineering team
