Work on a distributed team to develop robust reporting and analytics functionality that empowers users to assess the real impact of their communications. You'll play a central role in evolving the platform's insights engine, translating product goals into maintainable code and resilient system design.
What You'll Do
- Build and refine features that process, visualize, and deliver data insights across the application
- Write testable, documented, and efficient code in Python and Django
- Collaborate with frontend developers using Vue.js to deliver responsive user experiences
- Work with RESTful APIs to connect backend services and frontend components
- Engage in code reviews, architectural planning, and incident response as part of a shared on-call rotation
- Diagnose and resolve performance or reliability issues in production environments
- Contribute to technical discussions shaping the future of data processing and reporting systems
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of professional software development experience
- Proven expertise in Python and Django for backend application development
- Hands-on experience with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks
- Familiarity with MySQL and relational database design principles
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong command of Git and team-based development workflows
- Willingness to support production systems through scheduled on-call duties
- Active use of AI tools to streamline coding, testing, and debugging workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to analytical databases like ClickHouse or Elasticsearch
- Background in SaaS platforms with high data volume or traffic demands
- Experience with Kafka or similar data streaming technologies
- Use of background task systems such as Celery
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude
