Fuse Energy is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build the core digital infrastructure that powers our integrated energy system. You will work across the full stack, from real-time data pipelines to customer-facing applications, to help us deliver clean, affordable electricity worldwide. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build high-impact, production-grade software.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem
- Develop messaging interfaces with third-party providers
- Construct a real-time digital twin of renewable generation and customer demand
- Build high-volume pipelines for processing customer energy consumption data
- Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs to fetch and manipulate data
- Deliver responsive, cross-browser compatible interfaces with strong performance
- Build the backend and frontend of a world-class energy application
- Develop and construct the consumer-facing website
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable excellence as a Software Engineer
- A Bachelor's degree in a highly analytical discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development
- Proven ability to define and build complex systems
- Hands-on experience shipping highly-available production systems
- Excellent verbal communication abilities
Nice to Have
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in backend development
- Experience with infrastructure as code, such as AWS CDK
- Experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and Next.js
- Experience shipping consumer-facing products
