CoverGo is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the development and evolution of our enterprise insurance software solutions. In this role, you will architect scalable systems, integrate AI-driven capabilities, and ensure platform reliability and security while working on the latest technologies.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain new features and functionalities for our SaaS platform.
- Translate insurance business requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Architect solutions using front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical implementations.
- Experiment with AI models, frameworks, and APIs to develop and integrate AI-driven features.
- Build AI proof-of-concepts to explore new capabilities and validate AI-based solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding best practices, and champion testing methodologies.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bugs to ensure platform stability.
- Drive security and compliance initiatives by implementing best practices and adhering to industry regulations.
- Stay current with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in software development.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer delivering complex SaaS applications using Node.js.
- Expertise in Node.js, Vue.js, GraphQL, MongoDB, Docker, with a strong emphasis on TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AI technologies, including experimentation with machine learning models and AI APIs.
- Experience developing and integrating AI-driven features such as chatbots, recommendation engines, or automation tools.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with experience architecting and deploying scalable applications.
- Mastery of Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies and extensive experience with unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Deep understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Thorough knowledge of web security best practices and experience ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and expertise in cloud infrastructure.
- Proficient in agile development methodologies and adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.
